A native form Venezuela, trombonist Domingo Pagliuca is an Alumni from the University of Miami with the degrees of Master of Music and Bachelor’s of Music. After finishing his college degrees, moved to Venezuela and served as Co-Principal trombonist of the Venezuela Symphony Orchestra for 13 years, and was also a member of the Artistic Committee of the VSO. In 2008, moved to the US, where he was appointed Principal trombonist of the Miami Symphony for 5 years.
Among his engagements with Boston Brass, Pagliuca is also the Principal Trombonist of the Florida Grand Opera Orchestra, and Palm Beach Symphony. As a teacher, He was Faculty of EL SISTEMA in Venezuela for 12 years while in Venezuela. In the US, prior to join Boston Brass, he was Faculty at PBA (Palm Beach Atlantic University) for 2 years and at FIU (Florida International University) for 4 years. He has received 4 Latin Grammys as musician for the awarded Albums. He has performed with Luciano Pavarotti, Placido Domingo, Andrea Bocelli, Quincy Jones among others, and also appears in more than 100 Albums.
